BLUESTEM ARTS INITIATIVE

The Flint Hills of Eastern Kansas are well known to travelers for their beauty and vast vistas. There is an unusual movement of artists, designers and artisanal companies that are calling the Flint Hills home.

We are a visual / interactive website to experience and support the creative culture and ART’s community of the Flint Hills Region. The Flint Hills are unique, picturesque, and home too large ranching communities, but that’s not all.

Regional brands develop by accentuating the natural landscape such as vineyard’s, ranching etc., but they are uniquely defined by the food, culture, arts, and the people that make up the community. The ARTS can transcend the divide between urban and rural environments. A region is best defined by a mixture of all assets and experiences. Small towns are small urban environment set in a rural setting. We will see an increased value in the new and more connected countryside that exists in the flint hills. A small community could connect, share, and participate in a larger movement (Mattfield Green).

THANKS FOR WATCHING

We hope you enjoyed our virtual tour of the Flint Hills Art scene.

In these times of solitude, we hope you find peace and tranquility and know that there is a beautiful world to explore just around the corner.

Namaste
